     Joy Freeman is a Boston-based publicist and multimedia journalist who specializes in creative coverage. She graduated from Emerson College in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Writing. With experience at record labels, publications, and PR firms, she has cultivated a well-rounded presence in the music industry.

 

She co-founded The Yellow Light Zine in December of 2022, which strives to provide a home for artistic expression of those navigating their twenties. All of her work intends to keep the artist in mind, a principle she carries into her PR and marketing campaigns.

When she isn't reading a new nonfiction piece or delving into the latest indie record, she's probably somewhere at a concert. ​
